CIP Civil Engineer
The City of Garland is seeking a licensed or soon to be licensed Civil Engineer to join the CIP design management group. This position is responsible for managing, reviewing and approving the design of Capital Improvement Projects, and various public works projects to ensure compliance with the City of Garland code of ordinances, specifications, standard construction details, generally accepted engineering practices and techniques and other agency regulations.
Minimum requirements are graduation from an (ABET) accredited University or College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and at least five years of design or municipal experience. A PE license I s preferred but individuals obtaining their license within six months of joining the City will be considered. Salary range is $73,000 to $83,000.
